Our Story
More Than 20 Years Inspecting South Florida Properties
Home Inspections HALLEY started in 2005 with a simple idea: a property inspection should give people information they can actually understand and use.
What began with our founder, Nestor Gómez, has grown into a professional inspection team serving residential and commercial properties throughout Miami-Dade and Broward County.
Over the years, we have inspected thousands of South Florida properties and developed firsthand knowledge of the conditions that define our market, including intense sun, heavy rainfall, humidity, hurricane exposure, moisture intrusion, aging roofing systems, electrical and plumbing concerns, and Florida insurance requirements.
Today, that local experience remains at the center of every HALLEY inspection.
We combine years of field knowledge with modern inspection tools, professional training, and detailed reporting to provide a clearer picture of a property’s condition before our clients decide what comes next.

Meet Nestor Gómez
Founder & CEO | Certified Master Inspector®
Nestor Gómez founded Home Inspections HALLEY in 2005 and has spent more than two decades working in the South Florida property inspection industry.
As a Florida Licensed Home Inspector, HI-1993, an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector (CPI®), and a Certified Master Inspector (CMI®), Nestor brings extensive field experience and professional training to the company he built.
Throughout his career, he has worked with homeowners, first-time buyers, investors, sellers, real estate professionals, and commercial property owners across Miami-Dade and Broward County. That experience has shaped the way HALLEY approaches every inspection.
For Nestor, a good inspection is not about creating the longest possible list of defects. It is about understanding the property, identifying what matters, documenting it accurately, and presenting the findings in a way the client can actually use.
As Founder and CEO, he continues to guide the standards, training, and inspection approach followed by the HALLEY team.
